“Dreamy” was originally an instrumental track that I started writing without any plan – just playing around with different sounds and moods. I remember writing the intro to the song and thinking that it felt like entering a stage of deep sleep where the conscious mind surrenders to the subconscious as you start dreaming. Then I added the lyrics that are very sparse and repetitive contrary to my traditional songwriting.
